Qmed Consulting welcomes new team members
At Qmed Consulting we sense the improved international economy and interest in developing new medical devices. We see several new projects and start-up companies starting their journey to market approval. Therefore we have been looking for new colleagues and are always happy to welcome new experienced members to our team:

Anette Kristensen joined us April 1st as Senior Clinical Research Associate (CRA). Anette has 15 years’ experience as a nurse in both public and private hospitals, together with 7 years’ experience as a Clinical Research Specialist and latest 3 years as an Account Manager at a larger medical device company..

Lea Rasmussen joined us May 1st as senior Project Manager. Lea has worked since 2007 within clinical and regulatory positions both within the pharma and the medical device industry.

Please help us welcoming our new team members and you will see them around representing Qmed Consulting.

Qmed ensures commercial results
500,000 CABG surgeries are performed annually, but 46 % of the patients will experience vein graft failure or other complications. A US medical company has now developed a technology to not only preserve the vein graft, it also significantly reduces the rate of associated complications. Qmed Consulting has assisted the firm to adopt the product across Europe with great success. Qmed has defined a specific geographic scope for the assessment and focused on quantifying the value of the technology. We concluded that the technology could not only improve clinical results, it also had a significant economic benefit for hospitals and stakeholders. The results in Europe were a great success, and the company requested additional support from Qmed to expand to other markets. Qmed shows the optimal pathway to commercial results.
