History

Qmed Consulting ApS was founded in 2006. Seeing the need for expert knowledge and competences within the medical device field, the basic idea of the company was to provide other companies with knowledge and the extra resources that are sometimes needed.

Together with incorporated affiliate consultants we have combined experience working in the field of medical device and pharmaceutical regulatory affaires, clinical development and clinical trials and quality assurance for more than 30 years.

Early on contact was established to CardioMed Device Consultants. These consultants are all former employees at the U.S. Food and Drug Administration’s (FDA) Center for Devices and Radiological Health (CDRH) and have extensive ties throughout the agency and the medical device industry.

Lately new members and affiliates have joined Qmed Consulting ApS strengthening the in-depth knowledge of quality and regulatory affaires within the medical device and pharmaceutical industry.

Our education, experience, and broad knowledge of processes and international requirements often prove valuable for manufacturers providing a full spectrum team of professionals fully capable of addressing the multitude of needs of the medical device industri and related industries.

In October 2007 Qmed Consulting ApS won the price as the best ”start-up company” of the year in our community due to the fast growth and international connections.
